Arrowleaf at Empire Pass         I met with one of the representatives who works for East West Partners which is one of the key developers for new ski in ski out homes and condos at the Village at Empire Pass at Deer Valley Resort in Park City Utah.  It's a great ski in ski out project on the best part of the mountain at Deer Valley Resort.   One of their current condo projects is Arrowleaf A and Arrowleaf B.  They will be opening at the end of August 2006 a model condo to show the quality finishes that they will be offering in the Arrowleaf Project.  The Arrowleaf Project is located adjacent to the Silver Strike Express Chairlift and the ski runs that take you to the lift.  The views are spectacular.  It is also located across the ski run from the Tower Club…

Tip on Placing a Deer Valley Second Home in a Rental Pool

If you are planning to purchase a single family home in the Deer Valley Resort area and want to place in a rental pool, then you need to be careful as to which subdivision you buy your home.  Recently, I was at a realtor's open house day and visited a home that was just re-listed to sell.  The owners had placed their Deer Valley home in a rental pool but the neighborhood CC&Rs didn't allow it so one of the neighbors threatened to sue.  You certainly don't want that to happen. The overall Deer Valley area allows for nightly rentals but various subdivisions within Deer Valley may not allow it or restrict how long and how often you may place it in a rental pool.  It is wise to do your due diligence and read the CC&Rs for the subdivision you are…

Great Things Planned for the Canyons Resort Area in Park City Utah

         gs_evening_courtyard.jpg I just met with the Canyons Resort Village Management Association Director the other day.  She over sees the Canyons SPA (Specially Planned Area).  There is a lot planned for in the area and they are just in the beginning stages for this up and coming four seasons village community surrounding the Canyons Resort both at the base and up on the ski hill.  Only 10% of the planned area is currently developed so it is a good time to buy in at the Canyons Village Area.  It will eventually rival ski resort villages such as Vail Village.  But the biggest advantage it will have over other ski resort villages is the easy access from an Internation Airport which is only a 30 minute drive away.  The clients I speak to say that is the…

  I recently visited the site of the new 5 star luxury condo project in the Deer Crest area of Deer Valley Resort.  It's a new slope-side ski in out project under construction with a finish date planned for August 2008.   This new condo hotel will offer some of the most opulent amenities of any mountain resort in the world.  There will be an indulgent 17,000 square foot spa with salon and fitness facilities, a ski butler service, a ski "beach" and two resort style swimming pools.  Other amenities will include a ski apres lounge, wine & martini bar and a signature restaurant.  The condo-hotel will be 11 stories with the top four levels holding the 26 Residences and Levels 1 thru 7 holding the 67 condo-hotel units with lock-off capabilities…
