This weekend my husband and I enjoyed some early season mountain biking on the Round Valley trails.  The trails in this area are the first to open up in the spring for hiking and mountain biking.  In the winter this area is great for cross country skiing and snow shoeing.  The picture above is looking at one of the trail heads in the Park Meadows area.  There are five trail heads for the Round Valley Trails.  There are two in the Park Meadows area, one on Old Ranch Road, one in the Trailside Park area and one in Quinns Junction near the Park City Ice Rink.  My favorite trailhead is at Quinns Junction since there is a lot of parking and bathrooms.

You can find the Round Valley Trails as well as many other Park City Utah trails to hike and bike on the Mountain Trails Foundations website.  They have a great interactive trail map. As the snow melts other trails will start to open.  They also post the status of trails on their website.

Excellent Food at Park City Hospital's Cafe

One of the local secret spots to eat in Park City believe it or not is at Park City Hospital's Cafe, The Silver King Cafe.  They specialize in healthy local foods that taste wonderful.  So my husband and I enjoyed a great tasting healthy lunch at the hospitals cafe after our mountain bike ride which is so convenient since the hospital is located near the Round Valley trailhead at Quinn's Junction.  The hospital is also beautiful and only a few years old.
